Abstract: An Industrial Project is a huge investment of resources, typically this kind of investments are not decided at once, it requires a huge amount of work to find the best solution. What is the best solution? Something that is feasible technically, economically, financial, regulatory and harmonic with the environment. Due to the fact that many stakeholders have power over the decision, a feasible solution requires to follow some steps in an organized way. The heat and material balance among the preliminary drawings (Plot plan, layout, equipment arrange floor, P&IDs) are some of the pieces required to define the concept of the project making It easier to communicate the idea and ensure that the project aligns with all the stakeholders' interests.
