Description

Speaker: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Daniela Almeida Streitwieser

Abstract: Studies forecast that chemical recycling of organic materials, especially fossil-based polymers but also biobased organic materials, will be the most important technologies for reducing CO2 emissions to the atmosphere and obtaining a climate-neutral operation with net-zero GHG emissions. In this talk, the main technologies applied for chemical recycling will be presented from a theoretical perspective based on chemical reaction engineering followed by some practical research being done in my research group.
