Known as the "sustainable island", this small natural gem is a global benchmark in the energy transition thanks to the Gorona del Viento hydro-wind plant. Its geographical location, at the westernmost point of Europe, makes it a natural innovation laboratory. Thanks to its commitment to renewable energy, it has achieved energy self-sufficiency, proving that a sustainable future is not only possible but is already a reality.During these days, we will explore the advancements, challenges, and opportunities in the field of renewable energies, inspired by the pioneering spirit of our host island.
