Description

Ernesto's role: International Technical Programme Committee Member

The International Conference on Low-Carbon Economy and Sustainable Development (ICLESD 2026) will be held from October 30 to November 1, 2026, which will be hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This premier event aims to bring together global stakeholders—researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators—to deepen the dialogue on carbon neutrality transformation and consolidate practical outcomes in global sustainable development.

As a comprehensive platform for cross-disciplinary collaboration, ICLESD 2026 is dedicated to addressing the world's most pressing environmental challenges. The conference will feature high-level keynote speeches, rigorous technical sessions, interactive panel discussions, and academic poster presentations. We will focus on the latest advancements in low-carbon technologies, energy transition, sustainable governance, and smart urban systems. By bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical application, the event endeavors to drive the global transition towards a greener, circular economy. We highly encourage submissions that showcase innovative methodologies, empirical studies, and transformative policy frameworks.

We warmly invite academics, industry professionals, and policymakers to join ICLESD 2026 to continue this critical transformation dialogue. By fostering cross-border synergy and forging impactful partnerships, we can collectively shape the future agenda for global sustainable development. Let us work together to accelerate the transition from visionary ideas to tangible realities.
