Abstract
2 day residency and performance at Sonic Arts Centre (Univ. of Belfast), as part of the Sonorities Festival. Panos Ghikas, Wobbly (Jon Leidecker) and Jennifer Walshe join forces for a performance in two halves. In the first half, the trio explore the outer limits of digital sound, text and time, cybernauts journeying through a landscape scattered with defunct and cutting-edge technology, quotes from inspirational speeches given by tech billionaires and sonic detritus ranging from Machine Learning research to Buntús Cainte recordings.
The second half features a screening of Caoimhín Breathnach’s AN GLÉACHT, with a live score.
