Attainment, progression and experiences of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Students- Faculty of Health and Wellbeing

Higher education is considered a space for unlocking potential and advancing knowledge and research. While this is true, evidence shows that higher education institutions are failing students from Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME)communities in unlocking their potential to succeed. Funding continues to be poured into the sector for small and large scale interventions to provide solutions to this evidence without much success. This research project interrogates the causes of these disparities from students’ perspectives and experiences within a health and social care faculty at a university based in the South of England as a case study.
