Abstract
We are writing this chapter in April 2020 when the world we live in is very different from a few short weeks ago. We live in small towns at opposite ends of the South of
England. Paradoxically, we are physically isolated and yet the level of connection between people all over the world has never been higher. Like most people, we are watching the news of the Covid-19 pandemic unfolding in virtually every country of the world and seeing how different governments and health bodies are developing their own strategies. Organizations and businesses respond to the challenge in different ways, many with a sense of impending collapse and some innovating and thriving in this new reality. Throughout this uncertain, shaky, worrying time, more and more people are turning to the use of words, language and creativity to sustain their personal and organizational wellbeing. By the time you are holding this book in your hand, or reading it on screen, we have no doubt that the need for healing and the promotion of wellbeing will be a priority and a requirement for organizations of all kinds as they recover.
