Abstract
This chapter explores the value of using EMDR and its related case conceptualisation in the effective treatment of compulsive sexual behaviour. The chapter covers theory of EMDR in relation to psychosexual presentations, explores the eight phases of the standard EMDR protocol and other specialist protocols and a case study to demonstrate its application specifically to the presentation of compulsive sexual behaviour.
