Abstract
This paper seeks to address gaps in reflecting the above concerns about NGOs by exploring stakeholder influence on accountability and governance within Namibian community. It aims to understand how different stakeholders exert influence on decision-making processes, transparency, and accountability practices. By examining these dynamics, the study contributes to providing a critical perspective on NGO governance and accountability in Namibia. From a viewpoint of the NGO accountability sphere, scholars, practitioners, and policy makers should address a major concern related to NGOs’ preoccupations in meeting the needs of powerful stakeholders in terms of institutional donors and regulators.
