    Abstract

    Gates to the Glorious and the Unknown is a 'choose your own adventure' narrative website, which combines research from the International Centre for Victorian Women Writers (ICVWW), the Centre for Research in Kent History and Archaeology (CRKHA) and Creative and Professional Writing. It presents research on the historical, literary and cultural context of Kent 1862 – 1922 alongside a the story of a woman’s journey from Victoria Station in 1862 to Folkestone in 1922, following the route of the North Kent train line.
