Abstract
The field trip is a valuable opportunity to put students’ understanding into real life contexts. One of the key challenges of conducting a successful field trip is facilitating engagement-rich activities that enhance learners’ experiences, whilst allowing them to communicate and share their ideas. We highlight how the development of mobile digital technology generates new possibilities that have the potential to transform how students learn within the context of the field trip.
