    Abstract

    Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is a multi-disciplinary, professionally-supervised intervention that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of cardiac patients. Substantial evidence supports the incorporation of exercise within CR programmes to promote the recovery of physical and psychological health.
