Abstract

'Radio Recall', a meditiation on radio technology, memory and obsolescence as a point of renewed potentiality within a post-digital era. Interviews were conducted by Magz Hall and a group of volunteers in the Kentish seaside town of Broadstairs, and are interwoven with a musical composition by Jim Backhouse sourced from an ever expanding collection of radio receivers from the 1940s to the present.
