    Abstract

Approaches to design are changing. Glasses as well as other wearable fashion items need not be restricted to traditional approaches in their creation, wherein; flat components are manufactured and faceted together to create the final item. 3D printing technology approaches allows for manufacture of said item in single flexible pieces. Reducing manufacture time and allowing for new design approaches to be envisioned. Sunglasses while a practical object in which a person would wear to protect their eyes from the sun are also a fashion statement. Therefore, new design approaches need to be explored.
