    Abstract

Alison was a professor of econometrics who wanted to be a composer and before she died she became one, a good one, with leanings towards France and instrument voicings. This piece uses the clarinet to say something plainly beautiful together with the flute marked as 'in French style' and 'élargissment et joieusement'.
