Abstract

This thesis provides a portfolio of research focused on the transition practice for children from primary to secondary schools in England. The aim of this thesis is to reflect on what practice is used by schools to support transition through a literature review and to explore what discourse narrative is share with parents of children experiencing this secondary transition to interpret where practice needs to improve.
